It seems that for daytrana, they got the 'indication' for children aged 6-12. That said, the core medicine in it is methlyphenidate (MPH), and there are other forms of MPH which are proven in teens and adults. I wouldn't let that concern impede your use of daytrana... Doc just wrote a script to increase dose from 20mg to 30mg, but now I hesitate to get the new rx filled if the patch is less effective for children older than 12...thoughts?
