i,m very dis appointed with the lack of care and attention doctors give thier patiants, i was diagnosed twice, once i hit 18, my life turned for the worst, i am now 28 and dont know what to do, – one very confused, andy.

Curtin University misled about ADHD drug

“THE ethics committee of an Australian university gave the green light to a study involving a trial of a new ADHD drug after being wrongly told by a researcher that the US Food and Drug Administration had dropped a “black box” warning that the drug brought an increased risk of suicidal thoughts.”

Dexamphetamine is one isomer or structural form, Adderall contains two isomers, one a mirror image of the other. In Australia, roadside testing of drivers for drug intoxication or usage has been adopted almost universally. It can discriminate between dex and its laevo mirror image. Adderall contains the laevo isomer and will be picked up by all the drug testing kits presently in use. Unless someone comes up with a test that can separate the laevo isomer from methamphetamine and street concoctions, there will never be a commercially available, legal source of Adderall.
Vyvanse is a different kettle of fish, the only thing holding it back is the need for the manufacturer to apply to the Therapeutic Goods Administration in Australia to authorise its use. This process can take from 2 to 5 years or more, depending on the strength of the supporting research and documentation and also whether the manufacturer thinks that they will get a return on their investment of the costs of registration.

I’m sorry to say that i don’t know the answer to that.
I believe that Australia has dexedrine, which is very similar to adderall and vyvanse – though not 100% the same.

I’m doing an ADHD research paper, and am trying to find which provinces long acting meds are approved in. Can’t find it anywhere? Any chance you would know? You are the ADD Doctor after all!

As an adult with ADHD (in Australia), I looked into Strattera.

I was amazed at the number of men reporting issues related to urine flow, ejaculatory pain, prostate, etc.

No way in heck am I going near that drug.

If you or others doubt me just google “strattera ejaculation” or similar.
