ADHD Scholarship Summer 2007

Medication Mastery 7 Day Sale

Eli Lilly is sponsoring the ‘Focus On Your Possibilities Scholarship Program’.

This is a program aimed at adults living with ADD or ADHD.

There are a total of 20 scholarships, with a possible $5000 per scholarship.

This scholarship is featured at ADHD.com - and it says:

To apply for the Focus on Your Possibilities Scholarship, individuals must be:

* 25 years or older;
* diagnosed with ADHD by a physician and currently undergoing treatment;
* attending or planning to attend an accredited public or private undergraduate or graduate school in the United States or would like to obtain a GED;
* enrolled or planning to enroll in a college, institute, university, vocational/technical school, or GED program on a full-time basis;
* able to provide examples of significant drive and passion that will enable them to capitalize on their talents through education.

Applications must be postmarked by July 31, 2007.

After the comments below - I have contacted the administrator of the program to check about international applications.
Here is what I found out:
Melinda Cloud, of Eli Lilly, wrote to me today by email:

The scholarship program is open to everyone worldwide. It will cover tuition in any country at an accredited school with an accredited program.

So, if you meet the criteria of the scholarship - do apply, even if you are not in the US.

    Hi Karla,
    The short answer to your question is: I’m not sure.
    I have gone through the website, and included a link to the application form.
    SInce it is not totally clear to me if Canadians, Europeans, etc. are allowed to apply, I sent an email to the administrator of the program.
    As soon as I know the answer - I will post it here as another comment, or add it to the body of the post.

    We are adding the Focus On Your Possibilities Scholarship Program to our database. We need more scholarships like this to give those with ADHD/ADD the same opportunity as those who do not have this disease. You can search forScholarships for ADHD . TODAY.
