This morning I posted a story about ADD, and how it adds humor to our already ridiculous life (of 6 children, and 2 dogs). I hope you'll check it out!

Love your blog; very helpful as a resource for "dealing" with my son! Re the t-shirts: I will try to get the info on where I ordered this one. It has the ACDC font and says "ADHD: Black in Bla--- wow look at that squirrel". Doesn't that say it all?

Hi, I really enjoyed the t-shirt pictures. I am a special education teacher and have been teaching students with ADHD for 11 years. They are smart, creative, and sensitive. They often complain about their medicine and most of them need it to function. They say, "it makes me feel sick or I won't have friends." I get sad and frustrated at times because it is difficult at times convince them of all the qualities they have and all that they have to offer. Your information has helped me to help others. Thank you for all that you do for these people with ADHD.

Dear Dr. Love the tea shirts. It's time for me to come clean as I asumme? you deal mostley w/ kids, but find your information to be a joy and the best yet(at least for my case).
I am an "almost" 63 year old Black-Hispanic Latino female who knew for most of my life that something was "OFF" could never finish any thing, never understood math, raised? by a divorce orfand mother that though if I had been born a male my father would not have left her.
At 13 in Costa Rica I ask our parish priest to get me away, one year later the missionary nuns desided I had no vocation.Fast forward, did the best I could w/ sewing jobs and raised a Special Ed teacher and a soon to be Psychologist that don't think I'm worthy of a call. I diagnost myself 6 years ago but only able to convince a Psychiatrist 2 years agoto prescribe ADDERAL. After many Stimulants I pleaded for Straterra, it's been 6 weeks , thoughts are less erradic but focus and concentration.....? I tried going (winging) back to school, 3 credits short of an ASS in Humanities I am stuck and had to apply for dissabilty. I am hoping I can just go back to Costa Rica and live a peaceful life, ADHD is a joyful life destroyer and more so when diagnosed too late to do much abou it. Thank you Doc. Judith
