		<description>Nadine ,
Maybe check out
http://www.klis.com/chandler/home.htm - a great resource
From my experience on parenting forums Risperadil is a great med , but like all meds needs close monitoring. Maybe Dr handelsman will deal with &#039; off label&#039; drugs for aggression , mood stabilizers and finding the right combination of meds. you can check ask the expert
Billy Levine , a South African doc on http://adders.org

		<description>Dr Handelman

Just a reminder to you to put some info re risperdol on your blog please. I have spoken to some child psychiatrists here in South Africa and all are very weary to use it unless absolutely indicated, The main concern is the long term side effects like neuroleptic malignant syndrome, tardive dyskinesias and metabolic disorders. Are these relevant if the dosage is small? I know the recommended dosage is 0,02mg/kg
Regards
