Watching it can help parents of kids/teens with ADD/ADHD, and spouses of adults with ADD/ADHD understand what is really going on for people who have this condition.

In my experience, people often don’t put enough importance on the impact of this impairment.

Posted by: | CommentsIt has been known for a long time that ADD/ADHD runs in families. ADD/ADHD is very genetic. Heritability studies show that ADD/ADHD is about as genetic as height – i.e. it is in the 80-85% heritable.
A study was done that shows that it is quite common for more than one member of the family to be taking medication for ADD/ADHD.

This is a movie about a young boy (10 years old in the book, but 17 in the movie), who struggles with school, and often gets into a lot of trouble.
Why? Because he has ADHD and Dyslexia.
