FDA Warns ADHD Pharmaceutical Companies

The FDA sent formal warning letters to the makers of ADHD medications for inappropriate and misleading information in their advertising.

The warning applied to the makers of Strattera (Eli Lilly), Adderall XR and Vyvanse (Shire) and Concerta (Ortho-MacNeil).

In summary - the concerns of the FDA were that the ads or promotional materials in question were overstating benefits and not disclosing the risks.
