He tried Ritalin and Concerta, and found neither to be effective. However, he did not try the two together, and having read this post I may suggest it the next time he comes in for a visit. I do not prescribe this particular patient's ADHD medication, as that is done by another doctor. However, I do talk with him about his medication regimen when he comes in for a visit, and I will reference this post in suggesting maybe he ask his psychiatrist about a regimen involving the two together (Ritalin and Concerta) as opposed to taking each separately to no avail.
